How Much Does it Cost?

SCC tuition will be less than $33/credit hour and there are scholarships from local foundations that may cover the cost completely. The total cost is dependent on the number of credit hours a student will earn throughout their program of study. You will need to check on the specifics of each program of study.

How Do I Begin?

The first step is to do well in your high school classes as a Freshman and Sophomore and to take elective courses in your area of interest. As a Sophomore or Junior you will fill out a Career Academy application in the Spring as you register for classes. You can obtain the application in Guidance Office.

The Pioneer Career Academy in Nebraska City, Nebraska, is an exciting educational opportunity for students to become career and college ready. Through sophisticated technical skill training and integrated academics, motivated learners follow the path to employment and continued learning. Through a partnership with Southeast Community College students will receive college and high school credit at a reduced cost.
