A estas alturas, han escuchado que la escuela primaria Hayward estará cerrada el 12 y 13 de octubre. Sabemos el gran impacto que esto tiene en nuestras familias.
El transporte funcionará según su horario habitual. Si su hijo se sube al autobús en Hayward antes de la escuela y / o lo dejan en Hayward después de la escuela, todavía estará disponible.
Además, si su estudiante de secundaria o preparatoria necesita quedarse en casa para cuidar a un hermano menor, sepa que estas ausencias serán justificadas y los estudiantes tendrán tiempo para completar las evaluaciones / asignaciones. Los estudiantes podrán hacer arreglos con los maestros para completar las evaluaciones / asignaciones cuando regresen a la escuela. El primer trimestre aún terminará el 15 de octubre, pero siempre que los estudiantes hagan arreglos con los maestros, las asignaciones del primer trimestre serán aceptadas hasta el 22 de octubre.

By now, you have heard that Hayward Elementary school will be closed on October 12th and October 13th. We know how big of an impact this is on our families.
Transportation will run on its regular schedule. If, your child gets on the bus at Hayward before school and/or gets dropped of at Hayward after school this will still be available.
Additionally, if your high school or middle school student needs to stay home to care for a younger sibling, please know that these absences will be excused and students will be provided time to complete assessments/assignments. Students will be able to make arrangements with teachers to complete assessments/assignments upon their return to school. The 1st Quarter will still end on October 15th, but as long as students make arrangements with teachers 1st Quarter assignments will be accepted through October 22nd.
As a result of providing this extra time to students and staff, please know that 1st quarter report cards will not be mailed out until October 27th. If you have any questions about this topic or any other please let me know.
