The Pioneer softball game that was rained out on Tuesday, September 15th has been rescheduled. The new date is Monday, September 28th. this will be a home contest and the JV will play at 5:00 pm and the Varsity will play at 6:30 pm.

The Pioneer Softball game scheduled for today versus Omaha Gross has a change in locations. Our field is not game ready at this time due to the weather so we have moved the game to Omaha Gross. The game times will remain the same, 5:00 pm for JV and 6:30 pm for Varsity.

Katelyn was the winner of a brand new MacBook Neo. She completed all of the steps towards her Pioneer Passport. All Seniors are given the chance to earn a Pioneer Passport .
The Pioneer Passport is a resource designed to guide seniors through the college application process. It outlines key tasks students must complete to successfully navigate each step. To be entered into the drawing, seniors were required to provide evidence that they had completed each designated section of the Pioneer Passport.

Information regarding the elementary track program for Nebraska City Public Schools. The program is for 3rd -6th grade boys and girls. The cost is $30/Participant with multi child discounts. Athletes will receive a t-shirt, the program runs from April 26th - May 27th. Practices are held at Pioneer field and begin at 6:00 pm. Reach out to bfoust@nebcityps.org with any questions. The deadline is April 20th to sign up and ensure your student gets a t-shirt.

Nebraska City High School was well represented at the 2026 FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Lincoln. The chapter received a National Program Award, Membership Award, and a Silver Chapter Award.

Ryan Walker competed with his STAR project in Public Policy Advocate. Ryan received a GOLD medal and was STATE CHAMPION!! He will be competing with his project at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Washington D.C.!
