NCHS Student Council Safe Trick or Treat Night

October 30th 4-6pm

Nebraska City will host the first round of District Volleyball on Tuesday, October 27th @ 6:00pm. We welcome the Schuyler Warriors to Pioneer Country.

Congratulations to Elizabeth McNeely and Quinn O'Donnell for qualifying for the NSAA State Golf Championship.

Both girls will compete on Monday.

Apply to College Day was a huge success at NCHS.

43 Seniors took the first steps on their path to a successful career by applying to various colleges yesterday.
A representative was here from Peru State College, Southeast Community College and the University of Ne. - Omaha to help the students apply to numerous colleges.

Due to the amount of rain that we received overnight, we are not able to safely prepare our field for play tonight and our softball game versus Auburn has been cancelled.

Two new cancellations for the week. The golf dual at Beatrice for tomorrow, October 1st has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. The Syracuse Cross Country Invite scheduled for Friday, October 2nd has been cancelled.

Due to unplayable fields, the Trailblazer Conference Softball tournament scheduled for tomorrow at Papio Landing in Papillion has been cancelled. There will not be a makeup date.

"Laundry Day" at the High School.

Some students/staff were down to the very last item they could find to wear to school! Way to still show up and not skip out on school.

Mrs. Blobaum even found a few minutes during the pep rally to sort socks!

Due to weather concerns, the time for the Homecoming football game for tomorrow has changed. We have moved the start time up to 5:00 pm.

Today's softball game versus Plattsmouth has a slight time change due to weather. The Varsity softball team will play at 5:00 pm and the JV will play at approximately 6:30 pm. The Senior Night ceremony will occur between the two games.

Due to the poor weather conditions recently and the expected incoming rain, we regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to cancel our cross country invitational for this afternoon. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to try and make this event happen, we appreciate the community for their support.

Good luck to the Pride of the Pioneer Marching Band as they perform today during the Trailblazer Conference Marching Festival in Plattsmouth.

The Applejack Softball Tournament that was to be played today, unfortunately has been cancelled due to weather. Our fields could not take another drop of rain and it rained another 1/2 inch last night. Please enjoy the rest of the Applejack festivities with you families this weekend. Go Pioneers!

The football game at DC West was postponed last night due to weather. We have rescheduled the football game for Monday, September 21 at 6:00 pm in DC West.

The Pioneer softball game that was rained out on Tuesday, September 15th has been rescheduled. The new date is Monday, September 28th. this will be a home contest and the JV will play at 5:00 pm and the Varsity will play at 6:30 pm.

The Pioneer Softball game scheduled for today versus Omaha Gross has a change in locations. Our field is not game ready at this time due to the weather so we have moved the game to Omaha Gross. The game times will remain the same, 5:00 pm for JV and 6:30 pm for Varsity.
