CONGRATULATIONS to Katelynn Moser!!

Katelyn was the winner of a brand new MacBook Neo. She completed all of the steps towards her Pioneer Passport. All Seniors are given the chance to earn a Pioneer Passport .
The Pioneer Passport is a resource designed to guide seniors through the college application process. It outlines key tasks students must complete to successfully navigate each step. To be entered into the drawing, seniors were required to provide evidence that they had completed each designated section of the Pioneer Passport.

Nebraska City High School was well represented at the 2026 FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Lincoln. The chapter received a National Program Award, Membership Award, and a Silver Chapter Award.

Ryan Walker competed with his STAR project in Public Policy Advocate. Ryan received a GOLD medal and was STATE CHAMPION!! He will be competing with his project at the National Leadership Conference this summer in Washington D.C.!

Come on out for an exciting night of basketball tonight as the Pioneers take on the Schuyler Warriors.

Enjoy a performance by the Pioneer Cheer Camp girls. They will perform during the 1st half and half time of the girl's Varsity game at 5:30.

The Senior basketball players and Senior band members will also be recognized along with their parents.

Five NCHS students competed in the 53rd annual Peru State College High School Business Contest with approximately 440 students from 25 schools. They took exams in Accounting, Business Law, Computer Concepts, Intro to Business, Keyboarding, Personal Finance, Web Page Design, and Word Processing.

Congratulations go to Seth Rakowski for finishing 1st in Keyboarding in the Blue Division. This also comes with a $500 scholarship to attend Peru State College! Haley Camdem earned 2nd place in Business Law also in the Blue Division.

Last Friday, Ryan Walker competed at the FCCLA District 1 STAR Competition at Peru State College with his project in Public Policy Advocate. Ryan received a GOLD medal for his project and will be advancing to the state competition in Lincoln on Monday, March 30th. Congratulations!
